Terms of Service
Effective May 11, 2026
These terms cover your use of TranscriptMint. By signing in or paying for credits, you agree to them.
Acceptable use
- Don't upload content you don't have the right to transcribe.
- Don't upload illegal content, malware, or material that infringes someone else's rights.
- Don't try to scrape the service, evade rate limits, or interfere with other people's accounts.
- Don't resell access to your account.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.
The service
We work to make the service useful and accurate, but speech-to-text is imperfect. We don't warrant that transcripts will be free of errors, and you should review the output before relying on it for anything consequential. The service is provided "as is" and "as available."
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email under your control. You can change your email or delete your account at any time from your account page.
Payments and credits
Credits are not subscriptions. They don't renew automatically. See our Refund policy for how refunds work.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which TranscriptMint is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that state.
Changes
We may update these terms over time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced by email to your account address; continued use after notice means you accept the updated terms.
